GreatFeedback brings visitor feedback and AI website reviews into one workspace, with a direct connection to the work in TopDo.

1. Add your website

Once your beta invitation is approved, create your workspace and add a website. Use the public address visitors actually see. Add www or app subdomains as separate allowed origins in website settings.

2. Install the widget

Open Your widget in the workspace and copy the script. Add it before </body>, or use your website builder’s custom code field. Publish the change and open the website. The widget appears as a small Feedback button.

Copy the real values from your workspace; the example above is illustrative. If your site uses a Content Security Policy, allow your GreatFeedback host in script-src and the API address in connect-src. The widget’s isolated styles currently require inline styles inside its Shadow DOM.

Use Check connection to see whether the script has loaded successfully. Send a test message, then check your feedback inbox. Query parameters and fragments are removed from page addresses before submission.

3. Run an AI review

Choose a website, a public start page, an audience perspective, and a specific goal. The reviewer reads up to four public pages and follows links it actually finds. It keeps recommendations whose quoted evidence can be verified against the page text.

Good goals include “Help a first-time buyer compare our plans” or “Find unclear language in our product introduction.” This beta does not sign into your product, test forms, measure page speed, inspect visual layout, or certify accessibility compliance.

Track a useful finding to add it to your inbox. Add team notes, choose a priority, or move it from new to planned, in progress, resolved, or archived. A failed or canceled review returns its credit if no AI analysis has begun; after analysis starts, the review counts toward the allowance.

4. Connect the work in TopDo

In TopDo, create a GreatFeedback integration with a destination parent, your GreatFeedback workspace ID, and a shared signing secret. TopDo requires an integration-enabled plan. Create a dedicated read-only agent key to let GreatFeedback check destination and task status.

In GreatFeedback, go to Settings & team → TopDo. Enter the API and app addresses, integration ID, destination parent ID, the same shared secret, and the read key. Verify and save the connection.

Now choose Send to TopDo on a feedback item or completed review. The original context, evidence, recommendation, and source link arrive in a single task. Retry after a network error without creating a second task. Use Refresh status to retrieve the task’s current open, blocked, or closed state.

A closed task is not automatically a verified fix. Run a new review after the change ships to gather fresh evidence. Existing task links survive a disconnected integration, but new sends and status refreshes need a working connection.

Invite your team

Owners and admins create email-bound invitation links in Team settings. Copy and share the link yourself. The teammate signs in with that exact verified email; invitations expire after seven days. Viewers read and export; teammates also manage feedback and reviews; admins manage websites and team access; the owner manages billing.

Private beta and usage

An approved account can create one evaluation workspace. Evaluation includes one website, three teammates, three AI reviews over 14 days from approval, and 500 total visitor submissions. Paid plans use calendar-month allowances resetting on the first in UTC. Limits never produce automatic overage charges.

Invited beta teams receive 50% off the first 12 calendar months of their first subscription. Pausing or canceling does not extend that window. If payments are not yet open, the billing page saves a plan preference and clearly states that no payment is collected.
